Erica Sims
As I look ahead to 2025, my journey is centered on one core purpose: to empower myself to live the most fulfilling life possible while I am still healthy, strong, and mentally capable, and to help others do the same. This purpose is deeply rooted in my evolution, from striving to overcome feelings of being unaccomplished, unsuccessful, uneducated, overweight, indecisive, and broke, to embracing a life that is authentic, appreciative, and thriving. My WHY has transformed into a mission of self-actualization and contribution, reflecting a desire not just to grow for myself, but to uplift others along the way.
Maslow’s hierarchy of needs provides the perfect framework for my 2025 goals, as it aligns with both my personal growth and my commitment to helping others. This timeless theory highlights the progression from meeting basic needs to achieving our highest potential. My goals for the year are structured around Maslow’s five core levels, ensuring that I address all aspects of a balanced and fulfilling life:
By aligning my goals with Maslow’s hierarchy, I am not only building a strong foundation for myself but also creating a life of balance, intentionality, and contribution. Each step forward allows me to embrace new opportunities and challenges while empowering others to do the same. Together, we can achieve lives that are not just lived, but fully realized.
In 2025, I am ready to take the next step in this transformative journey. This year will be about building, thriving, and giving back—because every day is a chance to choose again, grow again, and live authentically in alignment with my purpose.
